Bogë is located in a valley 950m above sea level and surrounded by the Alps. The valley home to this village begins with the dry river of Grykë të Lugjeve and ends at Qafë T’thore (1700m).
In the Bogë village territory, archaeological evidence of early Illyrian settlements from the II to III centuries was found. Bogë is also the ideal place for both amateur and professional speleologists, being home to the Cave of Puçi, the Cave of Cilikokajthe, the Njerëzve të Lagur Cave and the Gjekë Marku Well, which is the deepest explored well in Albania and where fossil ice is found.
